Program Background

Master of Science (M.S.) in ICT is a fully online master's degree program. All courses are delivered online via a web-based Learning Management System (LMS), which may be recognized as virtual classroom. This type of learning allows you to be flexible with your own time and pace. You are able to access all courses from anywhere at anytime where the Internet connection is available and as frequent as you prefer. Furthermore, you can study at your own pace either fast or slow depending on your learning style. Course assignments and activities are also occurred in the virtual classroom. In some activities, the immediate self-evaluation is also provided. You will instantly know your own performance. The final examinations are proctored at the University or an authorized t esting center such as Thai Embassies or Consulates or other academic institutions that Assumption University has cooperation with. The M.S. in ICT has received accreditation from the Ministry of Education of Thailand. According to Commission on Higher Education (CHE), there is no difference between degrees conferred to students using eLearning or traditional classrooms.

To produce competent and skillful ICT personnel who are able to support a growing demand from the local market through modern course contents and experienced lecturers and tutors.

To develop creative thinking and ability to innovate technology to prepare graduates in the field of ICT research and higher education.

To develop practical skills and experience needed for graduates to succeed in ICT industry.

To provide continuing education to graduates and public in order to develop their knowledge, expertise, and awareness in modern topics in ICT through short courses and regular communications.

To promote and apply ICT in all learning activities.
